The Altar Society assists in the spiritual and physical needs of the parish. They provide altar needs such as the altar wine, altar bread, candles and vestments for the Mass. All ladies of the parish are automatically members of this organization and are assigned to a guild determined by territorial boundaries. The guild ladies pray the rosary before 10:30 Mass, serve funeral dinners and have coffee and rolls after the 8:00 Mass on a rotational basis. The Altar Society meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month in Charity Hall beginning with the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. followed by a potluck dinner with the meeting afterwards. All members are included in regular Masses for the living and deceased.
Babysitters are needed for various Parish activities. This ministry provides care for the children and gives parents the opportunity to attend Parish activities together.
Mom's of young children meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 9:30am - 11:00am in the Charity Hall Basement. The children play together while the Moms do bible study and get good moral support from each other.
Join us as we make beautiful hand-stitched quilts. Quilting is an art for all generations. Lovingly known as the "Angels Down Under" our quilters do their stitching in the basement of the church. The Quilt Guild works year around producing 22 quilts for Christ the King's Annual Quilt Bingo that takes place the first Sunday of March every year.
