Welcome New Parishioners Committee

The mission of the CTK Welcome Committee is to welcome visiting, prospective, new, and established parishioners to our parish family. Members of this committee provide a warm welcome to all who attend our church, whether as a visiting guest, looking for a new parish to join, returning to the Catholic faith, interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, or new and established members of our parish family. Prayerline

Debbie Muth (316) 942-5484The prayerline is a group of volunteers who pledge to pray for the needs of persons of the Parish. When a parishioner contacts a prayer line spokesperson, the phone tree is activated to immediately involve a list of people to pray individually for the person in need.

Lord’s Diner
Volunteers serve the needy a hot meal each evening. Christ the King is responsible for one meal per month. Daytime volunteers assist chefs in preparation of the meals. Evening volunteers serve the meals. A current Food Handlers Certificate is required.

Respect Life

Respect Life promotes activities within the parish related to this effort. Members lead the Rosary for Life each Monday night in the church at 8:15 pm and other activities to promote the Gospel of Life.

Meals on Wheels

Volunteers deliver meals to the elderly who are shut-ins and are unable to provide meals for themselves. Our parish is responsible for Meals four weekends a year.

A volunteer is one who is willing to give of time and talent to assist Christ the King Catholic School in forming disciples of Jesus Christ.
