Fr. Devin Burns

Fr. Devin began as the pastor of  Christ the King on November 10, 2020.

He grew up on west side of Wichita and attended St. Francis of Assisi and Bishop Carroll Catholic High School

Father attended  the University of Kansas, and then entered  into Seminary for the Diocese of Wichita, and was ordained as a diocesan priest in 2015.

"My Mantra , John 10:10 – Jesus said, I came that they may have life and have it more abundantly.”

"There are so many ways I personally have encountered that abundance of Christ, with my family growing up, at Bishop Carroll, with all my good friends and teachers, and then as I went off to  seminary. seeing that always following Christ meant an abundance of joy and love.  It is what keeps me going as a priest."

"Being called to serve as your pastor, that is what I hope to do as I work with you, to continue to show that abundance of Christ’s life and His love."
