All About Me

Hello! My name is Abigail Mayer, and this is my first year teaching at Christ the King! I have been a lifelong parishioner here at Christ the King. I attended school here before going on to Bishop Carroll Catholic High School.

I am currently engaged and will be getting married in February 2027! I am so excited to be back at Christ the King as a teacher and alumna. It is truly special to return to the school and parish community that has been such an important part of my life. I am so grateful for the opportunity to give back and be a part of the Christ the King community in a new way!

Communication

Communication with families is very important to me, and I want to make sure everyone stays informed throughout the school year. I will send out a weekly newsletter through Flocknote with our spelling words, classroom updates, important reminders, and a fun picture from the week. These newsletters will typically be sent out on Fridays for the upcoming week.

If we have any important dates, special events, projects, or other activities coming up, I will include those in the newsletter as well. We have a few major projects and trips throughout the year, so please be sure to keep an eye on your Flocknote emails for those updates!
