Hello Christ the King family!

My name is Michelle Wiesner. I am excited to be principal at Christ the King! I have been at Christ the King for my entire life. I went to school at Christ the King (K-8th). I often say that I have received all of my Sacraments at Christ the King (Baptism, Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, and Matrimony). Many of you may know me as Michelle Pascal.

The 2026-2027 school year is my second year as principal. I taught here at Christ the King for 9 years, before making this transition to principal. In those nine years, seven of them were in 4th grade and two of them were with 3rd and 4th grade. Prior to teaching at Christ the King, I taught 5th-8th Special Education at Iola Middle school in Southeast Kansas. 

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) in Elementary Education (certified K-6th)  with an endorsement in Special Education. Throughout my first few years of teaching, I worked through a Masters in Special Education (certified K-12) through Pittsburg State University. I completed another Masters degree in Building Leadership through Newman University in December 2025.

In January of 2023, I married my husband Sam and we had our first baby boy, Leo in December 2025!
