Welcome to Kindergarten!
I love teaching Kindergarten! Kinders are so free to be themselves without pretense or inhibition. It is a joy to watch them learn and grow! Entering my sixth year teaching this precious age, with a heart full of gratitude, that God has placed me at Christ the King Catholic School. I have lived in Kansas all my life, but my husband Mark and I love to travel and learn as we go. Our four grown sons share our love of travel and adventure. Gardening is a favorite past time and I enjoy sharing my passion with the little ones. They have many opportunities to garden throughout the year in the KinderGarden. The nature theme is carried into our classroom named The Nest. The Nest is a safe, cozy space filled with wooden elements and natural fibers. Five year olds "learn to fly" as they try out their wings in this nurturing environment. Lamps and outdoor cafe lights shed a soft glow among the natural sunlight that floods our classroom. The love of Christ permeates our classroom and entire school.
