Hello Parents & Guardians!

My name is Emma Reichenberger and I am going into my 2nd year of teaching at Christ the King Catholic School. I graduated from Wichita State University in May of 2023 with my B.A. in elementary education. This is my 2nd year teaching 5th grade and I am so excited! 

Communication: I  always send out weekly newsletters with our spelling words, updates, and a fun picture from the week. I typically send these out the Friday before the upcoming week. Social- Emotional Learning: We talk about the zones of regulation in a more age-appropriate manner and connect our virtue of the week as well. They can also write notes to me at anytime and place it into my "Teacher mailbox"so I can write back to them. This helps solve many problems students may be too shy or embarrassed to ask me in person. We also journal for at least 10 minutes every Thursday where they can write to me and I will write them back. Every student is a gift from God and I want to ensure they feel important and cared for in our classroom environment.
